We the Students

Dedicated to the Exploration of Contemporary Ethical Issues

Shot at the University of Miami's state-of-the art TV studios, the OSTN channel's original series We The Students is a 25-minute online, interactive debate program that will feature College Democrats vs. College Republicans university representatives from around the country, to explore and argue the most controversial and important topics affecting our world today. We the Students allows a student not only the chance to be a part of the audience, but to be a part of the show as well. Cutting edge interactive technologies will allow student viewers to participate in a live on-air chat with other university students from around the country, and respond to comments made by the two debate teams. The online audience will also be able to ask questions, which will be presented by the moderator.

Each episode of We the Students will be hosted by a 2008 presidential candidate, who selects the location of the debate, as well as the topics of debate for the College Democrats and Republicans.

OUTREACH OSTN needs volunteers for grassroots outreach on your campus, to promote viewership of this show. We want to promote the participation of college students in the upcoming 2007-2008 election, raise awareness of issues regarding the election and politics in general.
