The Open Student Television Network and Internet2 would like to present their first festival, showcasing student work from the 2006-2007 school year. This showcase will entail 3 nights of screeningsJuly 19, 20 & 21, from 7-9pm each night.
A cash bar reception will follow each webcast. All of these events are free.
The Nance College of Business is the location of the Ingenuity Festival's tech hub, featuring the innovations of companies from Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio community. The collaboration between the Open Student Television Network and Internet2 create the perfect mesh for the Ingenuity Festival, combining both technology and media in the ultimate medium - a premiere channel for student produced work. The Internet2 network acts as a backbone for the OSTN channel's delivery to colleges and universities all over the country, and allows the channel to deliver streaming NTSC quality video through fiber. The OSTN Channel is available to Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, John Carroll University, the University of Akron and other surrounding Intenet2 member schools. This year's festival features work from several of these schools. OSTN and Internet2 are excited to promote film and video production in Northeast Ohio, and are proud to make Cleveland the headquarters for this initiative.
